Thank you Cari and Lisa for commenting...

Cari- I do believe I have these issues to help others who might come across this...But I honestly don't wish this on anyone...If I had my way the Medical Community would be more open minded and help get faster results then what they do...

Lisa- I know we are the same...:) Also know that I'm here for you and will listen until my ears bleed...Please don't take offense to this, but it's nice knowing I'm not alone, but I also hate that you are dealing with this...

I'm sure sympathy isn't what you want, but I know lots of us post-ops who are NOT dealing with the problems you have to face are counting our lucky stars every day. Thanks for sharing about this and I truly am sorry you have to cope with the horrible side effects. However, being the type of person who tries to find the silver lining in the cloud, I wonder if there's a reason you suffer with this? Maybe you are being called to shed light into the darkness for others? Maybe you will be one who will make a difference, so others won't have to live like you do? Who knows? But, keep fighting the good fight, and I will pray for a solution -- and quick!

Berrigirl,

Thanks again for your honesty! Yes, there are far worse things than carrying around extra weight. Your voice will eventually be heard. . . Keep up the FIGHT!!

Love ya,

I'm sorry you have to live like you do. I wish you didn't have to! I bet it gets so frustrating hearing people say some of the stupid things they do. Hugs to you today, sis!

No matter what the illness may be, or be caused by, once it's discovered then the search is on for a cure or a way to manage it & be able to live as much of a normal life as possible. For the times when that is a "new" problem, it means an immediate uphill battle to get people to find out about it, to get the medical community to do the work to find a "fix" for it, to get the others in the same situation to "join the cause".....

That takes alot of energy....and from people who may not have alot of energy to begin with....

They are lucky in the fact that the internet is just brimming with millions of people, from all sides of perspectives ~ that's millions of "eyes" who can contribute info between each other....and maybe spark some researcher to explore the possibilities of finding solutions....help each other in the meantime....

It's as important for a successful WLS patient to get involved as it is for all the post op people who are having problems ~ every voice counts, every story is essential to be heard.....because all of you are in the dark about how the future will turn out, shared information may just be what saves a few lives....and your health is just as significant as any other person who has health issues, your experiences are just necessary to be heard right along with all the PRE op preparation they give when discussing the surgery & what's involved....

I'm not in this situation, however, I do believe all of you need to be loud & get attention & get the equal respect as any other medical condition out there.....your life depends on it ~ the new life you thought you were going to have after surgery....

I have my 1yr next week and feel so damn lucky. I can't even comprehend what you're dealing with.

I think you've said you've had some potentially positive news on things lately...? I hope it does end up being a good thing for ya... and soon like.
