Hey Cari,

I just don\'t know why it hurts when it growls, I mean hurts...It\'s not the normal bubble sounds but like the old one did when you were extremely hungry but now it can\'t quite make it and feels like it\'s going to eat the new stomach...It only happens when I haven\'t eaten for like 7 hours manly when I\'m asleep and it wakes me up in the morning like that...

I guess I won\'t worry about it and maybe it happens to us all...I just haven\'t experienced it until this year..But I haven\'t gained weight so that is a major plus..LOL..I really do appreciate you giving your opinion...

Thanks,
Berrigirl

Mine doesn't hurt and I know it is not from hunger but it is SO LOUD, it can drown out the TV or a conversation. Total embarrassment. I will lie and tell people I haven't eaten all day just to cover up, it is horrible.

Yes, my tummy DOES grumble. Sometimes, the noises are so loud, MexiKen comments that something sounds wrong in there! I used to "feed" it to make it stop, but I've since decided that it's "just doing it's thing" so I leave it alone. After all, it's no longer attached to my digestive tract -- not at the top, anyway -- so I figure it's just generating some digestive juices that will flow into my intestinal tract (somewhere).

I think we are conditioned to interpret the sound of a grumbling tummy as meaning that we are HUNGRY, but there can be other physiological reasons -- which I prefer to entertain ;-) Good luck, lady. I *FEEL* your pain.
