I have heard about this iron transfusion stuff and am sincerely hoping I can keep that monster at bay! I was flirting with a very low ferritin level, but so far, they say I'm borderline anemic, instead of full-on anemic, which means I'm only "kinda tired" -- lol. But, seriously, I was getting enough iron IN, just not absorbing it, so I've changed formulas (to a freaking expensive one) and just crossing my fingers that it will help. I will retest in 6 months...Hang in there, and I'm really sorry to hear you are on the transfusion list. That sucks! Ouch!
