Well I won’t be around for a couple of days…Tomorrow is the big day where I get to go in the hospital and start my IV vitamin treatment and to see if they get a vein on the first try or not…LOL…Granted I’m a little nervous and I shouldn’t be but it’s the anticipation of what I know is coming and it’s that big ole needle…UGH! I get so scared that I start trembling and want to vomit, it’s so bad that my husband stays until the get the needle in me…I mean they have to drug me a little to hold me down, how pathetic that I turn into a child…We all know that this is going to make me feel 80% better then what I do now, so I should just shut the hell up…LOL…
Hope to get some pictures and post after my mini vacation…LOL..Wish me luck! Hope everyone is doing well…

Don’t beat yourself up about getting freaked out over needles! Trust me, I know what you mean. After a few times of them poking and prodding and not finding a vein, you get anxious. I was totally shaking like a leaf before my surgery on Friday — it was crazy how freaked out I was — and to be honest, the needles did hurt — BUT — I made it through and will be better for the experience — just like you. It will be a bit of pain and discomfort now (a high price to pay, I understand), but soon enough, you’ll begin to feel the benefits of the vitamins and the bad experience will be behind you. I’ll be praying for you tomorrow, okay? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense (percocet!) but just know that I’m thinking about you.
It makes perfect sense Cari, thank you for your support…It is scary and I don’t know anyone who likes to keep getting stuck with a needle over and over again…LOL…Luckily they will have a Anesthesiologist come in and do it, cause I’m not going to let the nurses touch my arms…Especially after last time…And if they even remotely think of putting the IV under my arm like they did last time and I got a blood infection, I’m walking out…LOL…
What surgery did you have? I have been sick so I probably have missed alot of things…I’m glad you made it out and doing well…Thinking of you as well…

Good luck tomorrow…..maybe eventually they’ll invent a pina colada vitamin drink mix, and it’ll make needles obsolete……at least those would be more fun…

Hey! I’ll be glad when it’s over and you feel better. I think its just the bad connotation with needles working you all up. There is sure a difference in lab tech though. Hopefully you got a good one today and can request that person again next time! Chin up, Girl!
