I'm happy to hear your spouse stuck by you as I will attest.. Mine bailed ship at the first sign of something amiss and even informed one of my surgeons he should have just let me die WLS changes everything around you, physically and emotionally for the rest of your life. Some fare well, but others suffer for the rest of their lives. I was sick and dying and I "wanted" a new lease on life. Instead, I'm still sick and praying for a miracle..and my kids and mother have had to make decisions on my behalf I never ever intended them to make. Know what you're getting into and know that yes, we speak negatively because we've been in your shoes before and back then, we didn't get the luxury of the full story. We were ahead of you becoming "the other side of the story" whether or not we wanted to. No one wants to hear the negative because
